During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in blackouts in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were injured while inhabitants in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and encountered problems to water systems, as stated by municipal leaders.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a separate Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia area in the country's south-east, according to area administrators.

Moscow has escalated attacks on power infrastructure over the past few days, while the country's government has requested "substantial measures" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

"The necessity is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the US, Europe and the G7 - in supplying defensive weapons and enforcing sanctions," he wrote in a online statement.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen projectiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Russia was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were working to restore power.

A barrage of missiles damaged power facilities and apartment buildings in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people injured in the strikes on the capital have been transported for medical care, according to local officials.

Local officials said the metropolitan region came under heavy assaults overnight. A young boy lost their life and several individuals were wounded.

The assaults come after nights of aerial attacks in the territory, portions of which are currently controlled by Moscow's military.

The entire country is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to identify.

Authorities told journalists that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the national power system, with assaults already disrupting gas facilities.
